Bodywise Herbal Dispensary

Herbal tinctures are a key component of traditional herbal medicine

We use premium herbal tinctures to assist your natural healing processes and move towards restoring good health and resilience. Tinctures are concentrated liquid herbal extracts made from plants and used as herbal medicine. They are taken orally to relieve a wide range of health issues, or as a proactive way to support specific elements of your wellbeing.

Why use herbs?

Herbal tinctures can be prescribed for a wide range of issues, including indigestion, stress, PMS, pain, insomnia, varicose veins, eczema, and fungal or bacterial infections. The benefits may be felt the same day. However, stronger effects usually start within one to two weeks. Tinctures can used in a number of different ways; taken internally, put directly on the skin, mixed into creams or used as a mouthwash.

A herbalist’s job is to have you feeling better as quickly as possible and to prevent health problems from reoccurring. The aim is to treat the acute symptoms, and also the underlying cause of your health problems. Ultimately we are here to promote wellness especially when other health options have not been successful.

We have a trained medical herbalist on staff who can mix you up a herbal tincture for your specific requirements. We also have pre-mixed herbal tinctures for common complaints such as ViraEase for boosting your immune system and Allergy Ease to help with allergies.
